Domino Magazine Blues

Having just received my first issue of Architectural Digest that the brain surgeons at Conde Nast are substituting for our beloved Domino, I really need a Domino fix. My lovely blogger friend Averill at Odi et Amo did the most gorgeous post yesterday on blue and white rooms, so I was inspired to do a post on my favorite blue rooms from Domino. Gone but not forgotten my love!

  1. I am so with you. Got mine, too. It made me barf. It was like insult to injury. Love these blues, even though Domino off the shelf is making me blue.

  2. g.-I like to think that many of our design blogs with a fresh, modern, and achievable style are keeping its spirit alive.

  10. PS - I haven't even read the Architectural Digest issue I just got. Is it even worth the effort?

  12. Oh, hello old friends. I NEVER get tired of that blue and white zebra wallpaper (I have a lily pulitzer bag she did in blue and white zebra as a consolation prize). I have so many other things to do today, but I'm so tempted to go back and pick through my stash of Dominos. My other favorite magazine (which I began reading since age 12) was Victoria. I feel like I've been thwarted in love twice.

So, how is it that I've been sent Glamour mag as my Domino substitute? What? Now I can't even get a SHELTER mag at ALL? I think I have a complex!

  17. MLHP-"I'm so blue I don't know what to do..." If you call Conde Nast you can get AD instead. I'm just getting it so I can intelligently complain about how truly sterile, ugly, and pointless it is. ;)
