Bugs and Beasties

Many jewelry designers are showing insect and creature jewelry created out of diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, and other precious stones. Town and Country magazine has featured examples as have many other magazines. I jumped for joy when I was at the Anthropologie store in SoHo recently and saw an entire case of these beauties. Trust me, they are stunning in person, and start at $28, instead of thousands of dollars. My favorite is the octopus ring. What's yours?

    oh WOW - I just looked at the website and this is amazing (they have so many more pieces they don't even list under the "nature" section for some reason). Why, why, why don't I have infinite amounts of money???

    I spent the day with a friend who cleverly added two brooches to a pair of sandals, one a starfish and the other some sort of octopus - I loved that they were different...
