Tim Walker's Paradise

Cutting edge and avant-garde photographer Tim Walker is well known in Europe for his prolific work in British and Italian Vogue, but is far less known in the United States. His photography is stunningly beautiful. A book of his work Tim Walker Pictures was published last summer, and has been in my saved for later cart at Amazon for months. I can no longer resist, and thought I would share some of his gorgeous pictures. A former apprentice to Richard Avedon, he clearly channels Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton, and Norman Parkinson, but with a decidedly modern sensibility. His madcap theatricality is brilliant. Can you imagine one of his photo shoots?

  7. These are amazing! I've only seen a few of these, so glad you shared! The colorful animals remind me of Juicy Couture's advertising. Perhaps it is?
