The Gray Wedding Dress

This year, all the buzz in bridal wear seems to be about gray wedding dresses. This tulle tiered 1000 layer fairy tale gown by Versace Couture is from Season 6 of Sex and the City-An American Girl in Paris: Part Une. Most of the gray bridal gowns I have seen pictured are more of an icy gray which don't seem to work. This color is more celadon-a green gray that I find stunning. My dream dress. Period.

G-I am not a fan of Versace at all, but this is wonderful.

I was in raptures when I saw this dress in the episode. I still can't imagine wearing gray at a wedding, but this dress is breathtaking for any special occasion.

SF-I have a complete aversion to white in fashion and interior design. I don't have one white wall in my house-even my garage walls are painted pale gray. I also think many brides do not look good in white. Ivory is generally much more flattering. I absolutely adore pale tints of pink, blue, green, or gray for wedding dresses. But this dress is so gorgeous. Carrie was supposed to wear it to go out to dinner with Petrovsky in Paris. I've never been to a restaurant where people dress like that-I want to go! ;)

I loved this dress and I remember the episode rather fondly (oh how I miss SATC sometimes!)....it's a total fantasy, of course, but pure perfection.
