On April Fool's Day, instead of demonstrating your sense of humor, why not demonstrate your humanity? Many in this economic downturn are hurting, and food banks are watching their shelves run bare, while need is so high. It is mind-bending that in the greatest country in the world, millions go to sleep hungry every night. Bloggers are trying to help today by donating to their local food bank or to Feeding America, formerly Second Harvest, a national food bank with 200 member banks across the country. $1 provides 7 meals.
