A Really Bad Day

The good news is that I was able to remove the 20 inches of snow from my shrubs today after a crazy blizzard here over the weekend buried the city. The bad news is that while I worked outside, a burglar made off with my cash, credit cards, debit card, checkbook, and several other items. A very stressful siege while the police shut down the perimeter of my property and conducted an armed search of my home, while I did not know the condition of my beloved dog or home. Izzy and the house are fine; me I'm not so sure.

I'm SO sorry. That's just awful. I'm just so glad that you were not in the house while it happened. I hope you're able to get your things back - or at least shut down everything so that the criminal doesn't get a dime.

How crappy can people be to do this while you are shoveling and right before Christmas. Hope they get caught bu very glad you are okay. MB

Oh Beth! That's so creepy! To be burgled while you were but a few feet from your house! I'm glad Izzie was OK and that they didn't make off with anything too precious.
