Unacceptable at Ascot

The Royal Enclosure at Ascot has a strict dress code. The official website even has photos of acceptable and unacceptable attire. Can you guess in each photo what the possible infraction was?

The answer is that the headwear or fascinators above are not "substantial" enough. As for the dresses, off the shoulder, halter neck, spaghetti straps, and dresses with a strap of less than one inch are unacceptable. Violators are asked to leave the Royal Enclosure and are relieved of their Royal Enclosure badge. Oh the horror!

  3. the funniest thing is that getting a ticket to the enclosure is pretty hard. why would you go just to get thrown out?

  4. Meg-I'm not sure they actually ask people to leave. I've had friends say they've seen women with nothing on their heads at all in the Royal Enclosure. You would probably just find it very hard to get tickets the following year.
