I love them all, but especially the first one. They all have such a great vintage, retro vibe.
ReplyDeleteStyle Redux 2- the first suit was the same one Miranda wore to Carrie's "honeymoon" in the SATC film. Only it was red.
ReplyDeleteGreat echoes of a more elegant era here. No athletes, thank god.
ReplyDeleteKamali does the BEST bathing suits! I'd wear the first one if I was skinny minny again. Had a Kamali bathing suit in early 80's. Wore it till it fell apart.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend,
Catherine
These are so chic and flattering! I will take 1, 2 and 4 :)
ReplyDeleteI have a suit just like the second one. I bought it because it looked very simple and conservative (it was for a family beach vacation) but, to my surprise, this simple suit got me more attention than any bikini I ever wore!
ReplyDeleteFantastic, I just love these vintage styles.....enjoy the weekend, xv.
ReplyDeleteRose C'est La Vie- My thoughts exactly.
ReplyDeleteA Thousand Clapping Hands- These are certainly the prettiest swimsuits I've ever seen. I'm sure you looked like a knockout in yours! Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteSarah Klassen- They are indeed flattering. Kamali definitely knows a woman's body. I can't decide which one I love most. I'll take 'em all!
ReplyDeleteFrances- I so wish more women would wear stylish suits like these! A woman in a vintage suit would most certainly be a pleasant surprise.
ReplyDeletevicki archer- These suits make me think of Marilyn Monroe and old movies like "From Here to Eternity." Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI just love Norma Kamali - I'm glad she's on top of her game now and strong in the market. We needed her!
ReplyDeleteI would like one of each of these, please. Umm...and some of those gorgeous sun-kissed men you mentioned. Where would I find myself one of those!?
ReplyDeleteSanity Fair- Norma is such an innovative designer. I admire her vision so much.
ReplyDeleteAbby- Haha, it's a nice summer fantasy huh? If I knew the answer to that critical question, I'd let you in on it.
ReplyDeleteCool blog!
