Such Great Heights

I love all the dangerously high booties I've been eyeing for fall. I consider myself brave for wearing 4 sometimes 5 inch heels but I admit these show-stoppers intimidate me. They're a bit too high, yet they continue to seduce me with their curves and personality. The Christian Louboutin's are to die for. They may just be the sexiest Victorian-esque booties I've ever laid my eyes on. One detail I love is how the black lace bootie is accessorized with black lace tights. That's exactly my kind of thinking.

  3. *Sigh*. If only I could wear heels....since I'm 6' in flat feet, I try to avoid wearing anything more than 3" (plus, my flat feet can't really handle more than that unless I'm willing to sit all evening).

  4. Very chic, but I am not disciplined enough to put my back through what those would do to me, Beth! ;>)

  8. Averill- Aw, that's too bad. But you're lucky to be so tall. I think flats look great on tall women.

  11. I know we haven't known each other that long, so here's a quick story for you - I fell off of my high-heels (Tahari, for the record) in November and broke my shoulder and my arm. I still have the tiniest bit of healing yet to go. I don't think I'll be wearing any of these. Love to look though!

  13. A Thousand Clapping Hands- Oh, you poor poor thing. That's awful. That is one of my biggest fears. I take it you're sticking to flats these days? I'd be too scared to even try on a heel again. : (
