Tulle

Tulle continues to be all over the runways in designers' fall collections. I love this ballerina look and have scouted out some fabulous and well priced pieces on Etsy. The tutu skirt above is available in any length or color and uses 400-600 yards of tulle for $90. The one below by the same designer for $100.

A lovely tulle hat for $60. I bought a hat from this seller and their work is stunning.

Champagne sparkle headband for $45. Very Jennifer Behr.

  1. I can't believe how many yards of tulle it takes to make a tutu!

  2. Tulle is lovely - some styles with tulle are unflattering, but others, such as the ones you have featured, can be very chic! Tulle reminds me of the ballet, beautiful couture costumes, and feminine details. I was considering doing a vibrant pink tulle set of curtains in my bedroom...thanks for some amazing inspiration~

  3. I was thinking of tulle curtains in my dressing room. Years ago the New York Times magazine section showed a room with high ceilings where they had taken two colors of tulle and swagged, draped, and puddled it around the very tall windows. It was wonderful!

  4. I love the last tutu! Have had lots of tulle with three girls in many design situations. It is actually stronger than you might think. Great stuff!

  8. The black tulle hate - definitely. But yet again to my previous comments on hats - where can you wear it? There needs to be an annual hat convention for appreciative souls.

  9. Sanity Fair-I have that hat in plum. I wear hats like this all the time. It really just requires self confidence.
