Words fail to describe the delicate ephemeral beauty of the work of this artist. These exquisite paper creations are the work of Noel Solomon whose pieces you can find on her blog Fanciful Designs and through her Etsy shop. Many of you know her mother Janet and her wonderful blog French Blue. The picture above is my petite shoe in its new home in my house. I am awed by how one could coax these incredible treasures out of the simplest of materials-paper. Her works impress me as much as the amazing headpieces of Katsuya Kamo for Chanel's 2009 spring show. You all know how I adore hats-I would love to see what Noel could do with a hat!
