Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is perhaps my favorite movie of all time. You've listed a number of my other favorites as well (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Mirror Has Two Faces, Notting Hill and Breakfast at Tiffany's in particular). A few more I might add include Bridget Jones' Diary, High Fidelity, Say Anything and Pride and Prejudice.

ReplyDeleteSamantha- Yay! Glad to hear it.
ReplyDeleteAverill- Your choices are spectacular too. There are too many romantic films to choose from.
ReplyDeleteThomas- Thanks. Julia is not only an amazing actor but she's always in movies you want to see again and again.
ReplyDeleteWashington Cube- I'm going to finally netflix Persuasion!
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad and sweet movie. Anne--the family member who shoulders all responsibility with her family of flibbergibbets and arrogance. The sensible, hard-working girl gets the sea captain. A wonderful feminist sensibility in another sea captain's wife shown, joining her husband and his life at sea--and him praising her. If you've ever been the one cleaning up the messes, you'll appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteTitanic .. oh so romantic~
ReplyDeleteAll Things Romantic- A classic for sure.
