Continuing our series that wet weather doesn't have to be dull, a clear dome umbrella by Hunter with red patent trim and a see through handle featuring miniature red wellies floating in a sea of glitter like a snow globe. The umbrella covers both head and shoulders-you look right through it. So retro vintage chic.

I love it! This reminds me of an umbrella I had when I was a little girl. I may have to get one of these for the share nostalgia. Though I have a bad feeling that I could probably get 5 ordinary umbrellas for the price...

ReplyDeleteYears ago, I bought a pair of red rubber boots in London on King's Road. They were cut like cowboy boots with that curved in heel which made them murder to walk in during a snowstorm, but gosh they were cute. A true instance of "suffering for fashion."
Seeing this umbrella made me remember my red boots.
It also made me remember that as a child...I always wore white rubber boots. Something I hadn't thought of in a long time.
