I find something especially compelling about the use of a nude in a dressing room. It has such a boudoir feel, as though she is waiting to be dressed. Here is a great example in this Jonathan Adler dressing room above and Canadian House & Home below. The last picture is in my own dressing room. Note too the other wonderful elements in the room above-the crystal chandelier, leopard, Lucite, a mirrored chest, an oversized ottoman-you see these featured again and again in really well done dressing rooms.

I was in Thomasville in Tyson's yesterday and there in all it's glory was a black chinoiserie chevel mirror!!! It was a little over a grand if your in the market!

What I love about a dressing room is that it's a fabulous opportunity to go ultra-glamorous -- all that hyper-girly stuff that perhaps isn't the right choice for the public spaces in your house.
