Having just turned 25 I've decided to finally bite the bullet and get my ears pierced. Why now? It's dawned on me how much I've been missing out on the world of accessorizing. I find cute earrings everywhere I go-- J. Crew, Betsey Johnson, Tiffany, etc. For instance, take these adorable critters from Anthropologie, unabashed parrot, glitzy starfish, and swanky octopus. How fun are they?

ReplyDeleteI was 21 when I got my ears pierced and my mother, grandmother and aunt were utterly scandalized... kinda' one of those puzzling Deep South Gothic culturalisms going on it seems.
ReplyDeleteI've loved having pierced ears since it meant that finally, I could wear earrings with diamonds in them or emeralds and not be terrified of losing one or both.
Well worth it and enjoy it plus purchasing some of these neat cute-creature renditions...what fun!
