Ikat from J.Crew

Pattern is a big trend for this fall and winter, a great way to break out of the monochromes of blacks and grays and browns. This Ikat pattern is sensational. It combines the "It" looks of Ikat, pattern, orange, and aubergine all in one great new piece for your wardrobe. With September here, my thoughts have turned to updating my fall wardrobe. I love all the aubergine and plum everywhere, but didn't think these were colors I had in my wardrobe. So I went shopping this morning in my closets and discovered all these hiding-a fabulous Marc Jacobs Stam bag, a vintage Schiaparelli hat, a Suzanne Bettley hat I bought in London, a dress from Anthropologie, and a necklace from Neiman Marcus.
