Oscar de la Renta Tassel Earrings
I am absolutely in love with Oscar de la Renta's tassel earrings. They come in clip (no, I don't have pierced ears), they are dramatic, elegant, and come in a zillion colors. They are my favorite for the holidays and all year long. I have three pairs, but they are all stunning.

Dressing for Thanksgiving
Wouldn't this beaded shift be great to wear on Thanksgiving? I'm wearing orange on Thanksgiving this year. This dress would be perfect for holiday parties too.

Ikat from J.Crew

Pattern is a big trend for this fall and winter, a great way to break out of the monochromes of blacks and grays and browns. This Ikat pattern is sensational. It combines the "It" looks of Ikat, pattern, orange, and aubergine all in one great new piece for your wardrobe. All from J.Crew, these would be perfect from now through the holidays and all through the winter season. I especially like the coat above with its Ikat design of reds, oranges, and aubergine, in silk and mohair.

A Touch of Sequins

I predict that the biggest look this season for Christmas and New Year's Eve parties will be sequins. Unfortunately, designer sequined dresses, skirts, and tops can be quite expensive and may be too many sequins for some tastes. I have found some great sequined pieces, all of which I've checked out in person, that are high end, elegant, and well priced. Any would add the perfect touch to your holiday outfits. Above is a great bib necklace from BCBG that would turn any black outfit into a knockout ensemble.
These two-tone clutches by BCBG are gorgeous-they change color depending on which way you turn the sequins. Quite addictive playing with them.

A sequined headband from Anthropologie-very Gossip Girl.
This piece from Anthropologie can be worn as a lapel pin or a hair clip.
