Here is another great picture of Kate Spade. I love the red tights, the shoes, the coat dress, and the statement necklace. If you too admire her sense of style, pick up her book Style that came out in 2004. It's a wonderful little read. One of the many things we have in common is our love of dressy coats. She likes three-quarter length sleeves to show off her bracelets and often keeps the coat on all day or evening, wearing it like a dress, most often belted. And while I'm on the subject, Kate's Spade's company with which she is no longer affiliated needs to come out with a book of all their wonderful ads from over the years that are suitable for framing as well. Anyone listening out there?

Hear, hear. Do you want to start a petition?! :) I actually have one framed KS ad, my most favorite of all, that I tore from a copy of WWD monthly. Which means it's actually large enough for framing, but sadly, the paper quality is not the best. It would be so wonderful to have prints!
ReplyDeleteDown and Out Chic-Such a cute look!
ReplyDeleteAverill-It is such a natural.
ReplyDeleteCC-Me too!
ReplyDeleteSF-Maybe they will see this post and wake up!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you! I am a Kate Spade groupie! My closet is sporting a Kate Spade vibe, especially now with the new apparel line from KSNY. I have tights in every color and had my coats altered to all have bracelet sleeves!
ReplyDeleteMy 13 year old daughter has some of my older KS ads on an inspiration wall in her room. I want them back!!!
She's never been afraid of color, and her imaginative combinations remind me of YSL and his own palette as a supreme colorist.
ReplyDeleteToday I was looking online at new towels on the Bloomingdale's website. A lesson in color right there. Drab. Drab. Drab.
Royaltygirl-A brilliant idea having your coats altered for bracelet sleeves!
ReplyDeleteWashington Cube-I have always been attracted to her wonderful use of color.
