Kips Bay Show House

Since I am in a show house mood, I thought I would show you all some of my favorite rooms from Kips Bay 2006 that I still adore.

Mario Buatta's iconic "Sitting Room" with its gorgeous green walls, dog paintings, and marvelous English sensibility

My favorite room-Tonin MacCallum's "Sunny Boudoir" with its leopard fabric walls and my favorite-chinoiserie

My notion of a kitchen-St. Charles' version with its furniture,  art, and stunning red stove-a room "where you just happen to cook"

I think Larry Laslo's bedroom with black walls and Philippe Starck black chandelier is amazing

Now this is a landing-Eric Cohler and Jeffrey McCollough have really done it

Charlotte Moss and Kips Bay

I am so excited to be going up to NYC soon to see the Kips Bay Designer Show House 2009, and especially the three room master suite by Charlotte Moss. I thought it would be fun to look at some of her previous Kips Bay rooms.

My favorite-de Gournay chinoiserie, the umbrella bed, the gorgeous leopard, cashmere, and velvets

A close second-the Chinese screen, silks, velvets, slipper chairs, wonderful colors

A stunning bedroom-canopy bed, floating bed like in my master bedroom, stunning blue and white palette with a touch of pink and green, books everywhere

Amazing tiny space-love the sepia toile, the tented bed, the treillage walls, the urns

A young woman's pied-a-terre-wicker, lacquer, cozy, and warm
