Finding the Perfect iPad 2 Case

I recently got my new iPad 2 in black with a pink Smart Cover and have been searching for a case for when I take it out of the house that is either black or pink, stylish, functional, and not ridiculously expensive. This MARC BY MARC JACOBS Jumble Logo iPad Cover fits the bill perfectly and is only $38.

Ballerina Chic

Sparked in part by the movie The Black Swan, ballerina chic is a big trend this Spring as in this lovely collection by Chloe. Think Grecian dresses, tulle, sheer, black, pink, nude beige, ballet flats, polished makeup, sleek updos.

Louis Vuitton et moi

I adore the Louis Vuitton fall collection and thought it would be fun to see what ideas I would like to incorporate in my fall wardrobe.
A great dressy embellished coat-I have a vintage coat very similar to this that even has black fox cuffs. I love the upswept hair as well.
Gray, ruching, a statement necklace, a big handbag.
Yellow for fall-remember that great yellow Kate Spade dress-also crazy about this yellow J.Crew jacket and coat. I also like the idea of prints for fall.
Black and pink-my all time favorite combination.
Black, pink, ruffles, and bunny ears-I'm there!
Love the black lace stockings.
Two colors of pink together-brilliant.
More pink for fall-yes! I also adore all the ribboned platform shoes.
Love the deep pink bra showing through the blush pink.
Purple and black-especially the purple necklace and long gloves. This is how I would wear purple this fall-with lots of black for a more elegant look.

The French Dressing Room

Isn't this wonderful? As you all have figured out, I love pink and black, bows, very feminine, and with a French feel. This has it all in spades. This image is from one of my favorite blogs and bloggers, Sande from A Gift Wrapped Life via Paris Atelier. Sande's blog is on the art of giving and it is a visual feast. I saved it because I thought it would be such a fun DIY. These metal forms are widely available from tabletop to large. Just pick a color and lots of ribbon, tie bows all over and voila. I am going to do one of these for my very girly pink dressing room. It would also be wonderful in a girl's bedroom. Pink, black, a combination of pink and black, turquoise blue, any of these colors would be gorgeous!

May I Come Too?

I found this lovely photo by fashion photographer Corrie Bond via Lisa Porter's excellent blog The Lisa Porter Collection and thought how much this captures my favorite things-black tulle, pink luggage, turquoise blue stilettos, a beautiful hat in a hat box, a great vintage Cadillac. Swoon....

Audrey Hepburn's Lace Mask
Since yesterday's post on "How to Steal a Million," I can't stop thinking about Audrey Hepburn's wonderful mask. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find a black lace mask appropriate for dinner or a party! After scouring the web, everything is designed for sleeping (yes, I know, that's a different Audrey Hepburn movie), Mardi Gras, or sex play. Why don't people dress like this-how fun would it be? I finally found this lovely version online from a London boutique. Yes, Brits are into their dress-up far more than we are. It is made with black Valery lace and pink silk ties from Kuati. Anyone game?
