Beautiful Baths
I rarely see bathrooms I really love. But these four are all dramatic, chic, and elegant. Which is your favorite?
Miles Redd's gorgeous and infamous floor to ceiling mirrored bath holds a particular charm for me as it was salvaged from the Armour estate blocks from my childhood home in Lake Forest, Illinois. The home was built in 1931 and was the estate of Lester Armour of the meatpacking fortune. It was a collaboration between the brilliant architect David Adler and his equally brilliant sister interior designer Frances Elkins. The house was gutted in the 1990s by eighties pop icon Richard Marx and the bathroom languished in a salvage yard until rescued by Miles Redd.
Miles Redd's powder room-very art deco glam with its black, white, and Lucite. I love the little pop of color on the monogrammed hand towels.
I love this Cowtan & Tout Manuel Canovas wallpaper, the monogrammed towel (always make your monograms large, they are much more elegant), and the silver leather cube. The perfect woman's bathroom. This glamorous and feminine bathroom featured in House Beautiful is by designer Amanda Nisbet.
I have no idea where I originally found this photo, but I love the unexpected use of blue and white porcelain and the chopstick monogram on the towels-I would guess Leontine Linens. This is a great way to glamorize a white bathroom. I would have used a blue and white garden stool instead of the large vase on the floor-a perfect perch for a towel or robe.

The Runway Toilet
Is it possible for a toilet to be glamorous and gorgeous? If so, this Hatbox Toilet by Kohler is definitely it. With its sleek, modern, minimalist lines, it is my choice for the most chic toilet ever. Check out my previous post Flush with Decorating Ideas for the coolest bathroom wallpaper you have ever seen!

Flush with Decorating Ideas
I am absolutely in love with this wallpaper by Christophe Koziel. It even comes with its own toilet paper holders and two rolls of pink toilet paper. I think this would be the perfect solution for those of us in older homes with pink bathrooms we can't stand-go with the pink. Use black towels and accessories. It would be fabulous! It would also be wonderful in a powder room although guests may not be able to find the toilet paper.
