The Wild Fashionista

Blumarine

Issa

For as long as I can remember animal prints have been one of my favorite trends in fashion. As wild as it is, zebra, cheetah, and leopard remains a classic every year. I love how Betsey Johnson has always incorporated leopard into her collections. Her prints are very 80s, funky, and sexy.

Wearing more than one piece of animal print at once has always been regarded as a big no no, but Blumarine shows you it can be done right. There it looks tasteful, not overdone. Of course, pulling it off requires a delicate amount of precision. I'm tempted to try this look myself. The nice thing about animal print is that you can go as big or as small as you'd like. A belt or clutch is a fun accent to a simple ensemble, or go all out with tall Christian Louboutin zebra boots. Either way you'll make a fiery statement.
