One of my favorite wedding dresses of all time is this scalloped gown worn by the famous model Jean Patchett photographed by the renowned fashion photographer Regina Relang. Relang was a mid 2oth century photographer for such publications as Vogue and Madame. I also adore the scalloped dresses in Christopher Kane's brilliant 2009 spring ready to wear collection. Scallops

Since posting photos of this charming scalloped wedding dress and then rediscovering this photo of Zooey Deschanel in a scalloped dress, I can't stop thinking about scallops. There is something so vintage, romantic, fresh, and feminine about this look. I created a Polyvore set with some stunning Christopher Kane pieces plus some amazing shoes with scallops. This will be my new obsession until I find the perfect addition to my wardrobe.
