Since our post on Friday on those wonderful Louis Vuitton leather chain necklaces, I am obsessed with the wildly chic bunny ears Marc Jacobs sent down the runway. Created by Londoner Katie Grand, for me they stole the show, much like the incredible paper headpieces by Japanese stylist Katsuya Kamo stole the show in Chanel's spring 2009 haute couture collection and were the talk of the town. I love the way the bunny ears are accented with enormous pearl hat pins. They remind me of Fifi Lapin who I adore. The amazing Marc Jacobs has done it again, turning Playboy bunny ears into couture chic. I doubt I will be seeing these on the streets of DC, but a girl can always dream....
The bunny ears are one of my favorite parts of the collection. They look so cool and chic on the models. The accessory doesn't look out of place on the runway at all. I think it shows how creative and inspired Marc Jacobs is.
