Alas, the gown above by Loris Azzaro is a dress I would have loved to see on the red carpet. Most dresses fell into the category of what was she thinking? Below are my three favorites-that's all I liked. Below, Maggie Gyllenhaal in Roland Mouret. Whose gown did you love?
Dianna Agron in Reem Acra
Emily Blunt in Dolce & Gabbana
These are all great. I love the Lanvin gown on January Jones and also Cameron Diaz to me always looks killer. The Emily Blunt dress is quite lovely. The gown you feature is gorgeous-would have been great on Julianne Moore in another colour?, her dress was not good
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roundup ~ Emily Blunt looked amazing, indeed!

Emily Blunt's was my favorite. I also like Amy Adams' pick -- for maternity, it was fantastic (as was the color).
ReplyDeleteI really liked Jane Krakowski - her hair was just devine!!
ReplyDeleteI thought Jodie Foster looked ka-pow. People gasped when she walked out. Emily Blunt's dress was very pretty. Patricia Arquette, per usual, schlubbed her way into the pubic eye.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that puzzled me. Couldn't they have had a clear vinyl or acrylic awning out there on the red carpet to negate the umbrella situation? Surely someone checked the weather.
Love Emily Blunt's dress. She looks gorgeous. :)

Little Augury-I did like the Lanvin dress, but not her headband and hair. Cameron Diaz's dress was very wrinkled looking-maybe all the rain.
ReplyDeleteCC-Emily Blunt has great style.
ReplyDeleteAverill-Amy Adams was very cute.
ReplyDeleteSuzee-She met her fiance through her hair stylist too!
ReplyDeleteWashington Cube-I agree about the lack of cover-very odd.
ReplyDeleteCC-She seems to be the favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love that Reem Acra dress! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI loved the black headband, very Grace Kelly.
ReplyDeleteD&G yes..beautiful color, beautiful fabric.
ReplyDeleteAnne-She looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteLittle Augury-I looked at it again, and I would have to agree.
ReplyDeleteThomas-Yummy.
