Chie Mihara makes such delectable and comfortable footwear. With pairs this adorable and sweet part of me would be tempted to showcase them in my dressing room and never wear them out. But where's the fun in that? These shoes are the definition of femininity with their vintage-inspired look and cute-as-a-button detailing. Each charming pair looks like it was made for a porcelain doll. I'm reminded of the elegant accessories my American Girl doll had when I was a little girl. One of the luxuries of being a woman is that one day you can play coy and innocent in one of these beauties and the next assume the role of sexy city girl in your Manolos. While I admit I don't own a Chie Mihara, it is a label I'll have to keep a better eye on in the future. How dreamy is the first pair?
I love the brown ones! I have to get some of these; thanks or the introduction!
ReplyDeleteKitty- Aren't they great? Glad you like 'em.
ReplyDeleteI've admired their styles for months but haven't bought a pair yet -- I have to say though that that may soon be changing!
ReplyDeleteI am not a shoe person since I wear an 11 thanks to complications related to child bearing called footspread! But these shoes made my heart skip a beat and then started thumping real bad. I love these shoes so much I can't stand it.
ReplyDeleteMay the 40s never say die - I'm really loving that look right now. Perfect for fall.
ReplyDeleteThese shoes are so lovely - so polite! I adore the third and second to last pair most I think :)
ReplyDeleteAverill- They're just too cute to resist.
ReplyDeleteAnn- Aw, I wish you could wear these. You seem to really love them! They're just so pretty to look at.
ReplyDeleteSanity Fair- I too am obsessed with that look for fall. Anthropologie has really been on my mind lately.
ReplyDeleteSarah Klassen- Good choices! Polite is a good word for them.
ReplyDeleteThey're all adorable, the first pair stole my heart, but I'm wildly intrigued by the chunky black ones with the bow on the top that terminates with tons of "tails" to the rounded toe! I'd love to see a girl rocking those with tights, a pair of chunky tweedy wool short shorts, a cute little blouse, and a cropped blazer for the Fall. Why, oh WHY don't men get options like this?!
ReplyDeleteScott- That's quite the cute outfit you've mentally concocted. I feel for you, women's fashion is the greatest. So many possibilities! But men can look dashing and classic in great suits, ties, bowties, cufflinks...
ReplyDeleteSuch a huge Chie Mihara fan!! I only own one pair, but they are my favorites. I bought mine at Ped Shoes, which seems to have a few different styles from the ones you picture. Thanks for the does of shoe lust!
