Ironically, one of my absolutely favorite television shows for fashion is Showtime's Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Starring the always adorable Billie Piper, it is filled with great London fashion and hats. If you are not already a follower, now is a great time to catch up with reruns of the first three seasons of this fun and fashionable show during its off season.

Bored to Death Fashion
In HBO's Bored to Death, Brooklyn is the new New York. The hero Jonathan Ames, played by Jason Schwartzman, is a modern day Humphrey Bogart in "The Maltese Falcon." His sartorial splendor includes a gorgeous machintosh raincoat, skinny ties, Ray Ban Wayfarers, and wonderfully patterned sport coats in plaids, checks, and herringbones. Ted Danson who plays magazine editor George Chrisptopher is a beautifully attired old New York (Manhattan) in his pinstripes, pocket squares, and cuff links.

Mad Men Fashion
No series on the best fashion on television would be complete without including the wildly popular AMC series Mad Men. Its recreation of the 1960s, my favorite era in fashion, is nothing short of brilliant.
