Marc Jacobs' Louis Vuitton Bunny Ears

I really want this Louis Vuitton Headband, but not for $400. Attention aspiring milliners on Etsy-you have an audience out here for silk taffeta bunny ears on a black band in black, hot pink, and turquoise blue. And we will feature you in a post on Style Redux. I would do the modified version above with the smaller ears. We'll see if anyone hears the call!

Take a Walk on the Wild Side

Latex has gone couture, gracing the pages of Vogue and the runways of fashion's top designers. I have found an incredible collection on Etsy from a designer in Paris. The shop is called HMSlatex. I adore the pieces with bows. I also understand that latex is incredibly figure flattering, like a Miracle Bra. What about pairing the white top with bows with a traditional wool suit? For the timid, the darling little gloves would be a great place to start.

Feminine Fashion

On etsy I'm always on a quest to scope out designers who have an original eye, a unique perspective. I love to be wowed when I visit etsy. It's always such a thrill when I discover beautiful clothes that grab my attention and stand out aesthetically. I found two designers that I'll be sure to watch out for. First is emilyryan, whose pieces are very detail-oriented, yet simple. These days I have a strong interest in clothes that are sculpturally pleasing and will make people take notice. The spiral pleated dress is so artistic and clever. I'm in awe and could stare at it all day. Also, the ruffle bustle wrap pants are just too cute.

I'm deeply in love with these bustles by the second fabulous designer I found, artlab. How darling are they? A piece like this is fashion at its best and is so Carrie Bradshaw inspired. It's a great alternative to her tutu!

Aubergine and Deep Plum

From fashion to interior design, aubergine and deep plum are an elegant, sophisticated, and chic trend this fall. A gorgeous choice for the walls of a dining room, bedroom, powder room, study, anywhere! Not ready to commit to a whole room? Try a sofa, silk taffeta or velvet curtains, a leather ottoman, or a ceiling. Be on the lookout for a great piece in aubergine or plum to add to your wardrobe. Have you seen Betsey Johnson's new tiered skirt/petticoat in plum-to die for!

Walk in His Shoes

Men's inspired shoes are a popular staple for the ladies this fall. These days dressing like a man has never been so "in." Stores can't keep boyfriend blazers, boyfriend jeans, and button-down shirts in stock. There's something very sexy, maybe even empowering about this trend. The other day while shopping at Nordstrom Rack I was lucky enough to find these black patent Miu Miu oxfords. They retail for $500 and were on a super sale for $90. I was thrilled to find these and for so cheap! Oxford/jazz shoes come in a variety of colors and styles. It's hard to pick just one. Chanel, Christopher Kane, and Phillip Lim have designed some very appealing oxfords. And of course, stores like Topshop and Nine West have come out with more affordable but just as noteworthy pairs. When I was a little girl I thought my black & white leather saddle shoes from Stride Rite were the cutest. They looked similar to these, but more simple. I went through so many pairs; they looked darling with almost everything. The same holds true for oxfords today. Dress them up or down. Wear them with wide leg trousers, skinny jeans, a dressy frock, a pleated skirt, the possibilities are limitless. Who can say no to such a versatile shoe?
